Winnie Hsin worries about living alone

9 Oct – Winnie Hsin recently admitted that she is a little worried about living alone now, especially since there have already been cases of artistes of similar situation passing away unnoticed.

As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who has moved to Bai Ping in the district of Neihu since April this year, stated that she was saddened over news of Taiwanese TV personality Luo Pei-ying, who died alone at home back in August this year due to accidental overdose of anti-depressive medications; and Alien Huang, who passed away last month due to heart complications.

"But my family lives nearby and nowadays I always make sure to be in contact with friends to report my situation and make sure we can take care of each other," she said.

At the same time, Winnie stated that she wants to live on her own to overcome her own problems in life.

"When I first moved in, I would be scared senseless whenever I saw a spider or a lizard. I was really scared of these creepy crawlies. But I had since taught myself to face all these myself. In fact, they're very afraid of us," she said with a laugh.

As to whether she has thought about tying the knot, the singer stated that she no longer thinks of marriage as an important matter in her life.

"I care more about having someone who is spiritually compatible. When I was young, I thought my partner must be handsome. Now such a requirement feels empty," she said.
