Winkie Lai expresses thoughts on brother's death
20 Oct – Several days following news of her brother Harry's death, Hong Kong singer Winkie Lai took to social media to express her feelings about the loss.
As reported on Mingpao, the HotCha member shared a video of his performance as a tribute to him on her 33rd birthday, saying that Harry was a kind guy with a big dream.
"It is the honour of my life to have this brother, and the achievement of my life... He is a very dedicated and professional person, serious yet humorous... Thank you for appearing in my life. Till we meet again," she wrote.
Winkie added that her birthday wish this year is for her brother to go to Heaven and be protected by the Lord - and to find his happiness in the afterlife. She also hopes that Harry will bless her and their parents, so that their wounds would heal and that they will be strong again as a family.
Harry Lai was revealed to have died after falling off a building on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai on the morning of 16 October. During his life, he was known to be a stage actor, director and lyricist.
He was 28.
