Wilson Tsui prefers selling assets over TVB

23 Mar – With the latest obstacle from the Office of Communications Authority (OFCA) coming HKTV's way, its resident actor Wilson Tsui recently stated that he may need to sell his assets soon if things remain at a standstill.

As reported on HK Channel, recently, it was rumoured that HKTV may be halting plans to renew its artistes' contract while resolving their license issue, following OFCA's clarification that the company's mobile TV plan will also require them to apply for broadcasting license.

Wilson, whose contract has expired earlier this month, revealed that he may have to sell his assets in order to support his family and pay his bills.

Though no children of his own, the actor is known for his charity work, and has been sponsoring 12 needy children, an effort that costs thousands of dollars he now may have difficulty of raising.

"If this continues, I will really have to sell some of my assets. Maybe I can sell my watch, and my car, and ultimately my own house," said the actor, who believes that he is the luckier few who already owns a house that he can use as an investment.

Wilson added that if push comes to shove, he may consider moving to Taiwan, which has a cheaper cost of living. However, the actor said that doing such will be his last option.

However his living condition, there are two things that Wilson is confident about, "I will never give up my child sponsorship. And I will never return to TVB."
