William Lok fell for Christine Kuo's humility
19 Oct – Professional racer William Lok recently admitted that Christine Kuo's indifference to his status was the reason why he fell for her in the first place.
As reported on On CC, the racer, who spoke about his fiancée recently, shared that Christine never knew about his family wealth or even his career when they first met, and that she originally thought that he was an Uber driver.
"She even asked me to teach her about cars," he said.
William also stated that he saw how Christine would be happy to talk to the cleaning staff and salespeople, but would keep her distance from wealthy people.
"She doesn't care at all about social status, and it really left a deep impact on me," he said.
As to why Christine agreed to marry him, William said that the actress likes a man with ambition, and that he fits the bill perfectly.
The couple is set to tie the knot today.
