William Chan and Charlene Choi to end relationship

14 May - Rumour has it that William Chan and Charlene Choi are on the verge of breaking up, following the actor's recent success in mainland China.

According to On CC News, the tabloids recently reported that William, who has always been the lesser known between the two, recently witnessed the surge of his popularity after working on the mainland drama, "Swords of Legends".

He had subsequently been offered various projects and has been busy ever since. He didn't even take some time off to support Charlene for her Best Actress nomination at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

The actor was also recently rumoured with his co-star Zhao Liying while working on Nicky Wu's new series, "The Legend of Zu".

Tabloids had reported that the two of them were seen spending a lot of time together and were even holding hands while rehearsing their script.

Allegedly, Charlene was frustrated and believes that a breakup would be the best solution.

When asked to comment, however, Charlene and William's manager, Mani Fok replied, "We're not going to respond to unfounded rumours."
