Where to shop in Singapore for all things $2 besides Daiso

There are many places in Singapore where you can stretch your $2 besides Daiso. From household wares to cosmetics, snacks to knick knacks, here are all the other shops in Singapore to go to if you’re on a tight budget. Or if for some reason you’re on a $2 shopping challenge.

With two outlets at The Star Vista in Buona Vista and Liang Court shopping mall near Clarke Quay, 2WO is a Japanese value store offering quality household ware, storage solutions as well as craft items at $2 each. A reviewer on Google has even described 2WO as a cousin of Daiso.

Tokutokuya

There is only one Tokutokuya outlet left in Singapore and it’s located at Changi City Point. A trip down to the remote business district of the east is well worth it as you will find a treasure trove of aesthetically pleasing homeware as well as zakka goods.

The huge store houses plenty of snacks, crockery, stationery, novelty items, and even kitschy character goods at $2 per item. Tokutokuya also stocks a selection of items priced slightly above $2 that are still affordable.

Mixcart

Mixcart is a bargain shop that stocks a variety of knick knacks, children’s toys, costume jewellery and stationery priced at $2 per item. You even get the same vibes as a “mama shop”. Check out their Facebook page here.

Mijyi has outlets in Kallang Leisure Park and Ang Mo Kio’s Big Mac Centre. The shops bring in products from not just Japan, but also Korea, Taiwan, and the US. According to reviewers on Facebook, prices range from $2 to $6. Check out their Facebook page here.

OneDollarOnly

While their items are not priced at $2, we couldn’t resist including OneDollarOnly as they offer goods at half the price – just $1.

It is also the only retailer in this list that is based online. The website offers all sorts of stationery, corporate gifts, as well as knick knacks such as finger puppets and skipping ropes. However, do take note that there will be a delivery charge of $7 for orders below $70.

Occasionally, OneDollarOnly hosts warehouse sales, so keep a lookout for any announcements on their Facebook page.
