Where are they now?: The cast of ‘Little House on the Prairie’

Melissa Gilbert kicked off her acting career at an early age, appearing in commercials and TV shows before starring in “Little House.” After the show ended, she continued to act in both TV and film – and was even the president of the Screen Actors Guild from 2001 to 2005. She’s had a tumultuous personal life, battling alcoholism and depression – which she wrote about in her 2009 memoir. She dated a string of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Rob Lowe, John Cusack, Billy Idol and Tom Cruise – and was married twice before finally settling down for good in 2013.
