We've found a £35 high street version of Celine's classic crossbody bag
There are few things I love more than finding a high street lookalike of a designer item. And some of my favourite go-to brands, including Mango and Karen Millen, have really been delivering some great dupes as of late with affordable takes on everything from Miu Miu's ballet flats to the Saint Laurent party boots and Carrie Bradshaw's favourite Manolo Blahnik shoes.
The latest designer double to catch my eye is Marks & Spencer's cross body which is almost identical to Celine's classic bag. Yep, that Celine bag. The same one that has been seen on nearly all the style set, not to mention slung across Emily Ratajkowski's shoulder, clutched in the crook of Angelina Jolie's elbow, and even worn by Anne Hathaway. (It was actually Anne's character sporting the Celine bag as the actress was on set filming when she was spotted toting the design, but still.)
For those wanting to invest in the real deal, you can shop the bag for a cool £3,100. Not cheap, but the style is timeless and something you could wear now and for the next twenty years without it dating.
I, however, can't afford to splurge that kinda cash. Instead, I'm more than happy to shop for purse-friendly alternatives on the high street. And if I can get something that's almost identical but won't cost me three months' rent, I consider that a major win. Especially in a cost of living crisis.

The faux leather design features the same shape, fold-over flap, gold hardware closure, and crossbody strap. The latte colourway is also not far off the Celine camel hue. All in all, we'd say this is a pretty convincing high street dupe. Although it seems we're not alone in that thinking, as the black, khaki, pink, and white versions have already sold out.
If you're lucky, you may still be able to find some of the other colours in store. But if it's the brown style you're after, you might want to be quick. Race ya to the checkout...
