We're obsessed with EmRata's string bikini and leather racing suit 'fit
Move over Max Verstappen! Despite the Formula 1 Grand Prix taking over Monaco at the weekend [Sunday 26 May], it wasn't the drivers capturing attention. Nope, all eyes were instead on Emily Ratajkowski. Especially when the model was photographed walking – or rather, strutting – on the grid in an outfit that truly left our jaws on the floor.
A little context in case you're not a racing girlie. The Monaco Grand Prix is widely considered the biggest motor race in the world, even though it has the smallest spectator capacity. And given it falls annually right after the Cannes Film Festival, taking place just a short jaunt up the coast of the French Riviera, it's also a celebrity hotspot. Alongside EmRata, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ashley Graham and Heidi and Leni Klum were also spotted in the stands.
Though no one could compete with the model when it came to attire that perfectly merged F1 and fashion.
Looking ready to take to the driving seat, Emily donned an oversized white and black leather jacket adorned with racing patches paired with matching black and white leather trousers featuring red stitching detail. Underneath her racing suit, she had on a teeny tiny black and white string bikini, the bottoms of which were worn high up on her hips. Ya know, because what else would you wear when you're watching the Grand Prix but the beach is right there?
She completed her outfit with white leather pointed heels and black wraparound sunglasses. Simply put, Em looks *amazing*. It's a seriously cool take on racing chic and we are here for it.
Her swimwear was far from the only 'kini she sported that weekend. Emily took to Instagram to share a series of snaps of herself wearing Fruity Booty's 'Wall of Fame' bikini and the brand's matching boxers. Both items are still in stock in every size, but you better be quick if you want to steal EmRata's style...
Yep, this is how we wish we'd spent our weekend. And more importantly, what we wish we'd worn this weekend.
