School’s out, and there’s plenty of fun to be had around Singapore this weekend. Look forward to a host of activities for kids, while adults can indulge in everything from raves to workshops.

1. Ultra Singapore 2017
The Ultra music festival is back with a bang this year, with some of the world’s most renowned DJs spinning this weekend. Party-goers can expect beats from top-notch international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Dash Berlin, as well as a line-up of local and regional DJs like Rich Chigga, Sam Rui and Jasmine Sokko. The festival features three stages: Ultra Main Stage for big names, Live Stage where live performances and Resistance Stage for house and techno music.

Note that only clear bags, fanny packs and small clutch bags are allowed into the festival.

2. Doctors Without Borders Film Festival
The regionally-touring festival brings three critically acclaimed documentary films to its Singapore debut. Visitors can look forward to three films about the reality of working in the field, the risks aid workers face in the frontline and the efforts taken to preserve human dignity of people in crisis, followed by post-screening discussions.

3. The Kidz Academy 2017
Let your children live and learn the stories of Singapore’s notable legends at Singapore’s longest-running kids’ education fair in a fun, theatrical fashion. The Kidz Academy 2017 fair is sure to keep young ones entertained with activities ranging from colouring and art contests, a safe cycling programme, and inflatable rides and games from the 1960s.

4. Yayoi Kusama: Life is the Heart of a Rainbow
Over 120 artworks from celebrated artist Yayoi Kusama – including early paintings – will be on display at the exhibition. Visitors can also look forward to Kusama’s signature works such as the Narcissus Garden, Infinity Mirrored Room: Gleaming Lights of the Soul, as well as never-before-seen works.

5. aMEI Utopia 2.0 Carnival World Tour Singapore
Mandopop queen A-Mei is returning to Singapore with a brand new tour celebrating her 20-year music career. Concert-goers can expect a special 40-minute remix of her music for the first time in this show, as well as rousing live performances of the singer’s best music, from her most recent album as well as highlights from her entire singing career.

6. ArtScience on Screen: Anime Season – Spirited Away
The ArtScience Museum is bringing back one of the most-loved fantasy anime films of all time. In conjunction with the Children’s Season 2017, ArtScience on Screen is presenting Spirited Away – a fantasy anime about a young girl who enters a spirit world inhibited by fantasical creatures.

7. FastFlea Market
Browse more than 20 stalls at the FastFlea Market this weekend selling everything from jewellery, to beauty products, knick-knacks, snacks and more.

8. Baby Baby Exhibition
New and expectant parents have something to look forward to this weekend, as everything baby-related can be found at the Baby Baby exhibition. Parents can enroll their little ones in the exhibition’s Cover Baby contest, attend talks from experts such as doctors and specialists, and look for a variety of attractive bargains, products and services.

9. Hack for Good Festival
Pick up a new skill while contributing back a the community. The Hack for Good Festival offers an array of workshops and activities for youths, such as Animation 101, Social Media Marketing, Craft & Care and Storytelling through Film.

10. Urban Street Football 2017
Score some goals and show off your football skills at the Urban Street Football 2017 event. As part of the Singapore Street Festival 2017, participants and visitors can take part in two football-related competitions – the Football Freestyle and the Panna game.

11. The Golden Age of Hollywood
Herald in the renaissance of Hollywood’s Golden Age, and embark on a three-floor cinematic odyssey featuring different themes such as “The Rockefeller Ballroom”, “The High Society Lounge” and “Sunset Boulevard”. Party-goers will also be entertained with performances such as a live electric swing, ragtime jazz performances, showgirl coquetry and cheeky dancers. Be sure to dress in flapper and dapper outfits.

12. Live Spectacle NARUTO – Song of the Akatsuki
NARUTO, one of the world’s most famous Japanese manga and anime, is coming to Singapore in the flesh. The stage play follows the namesake character as he returns to his village and attempts to save his friend Sasuke, while Akatsuki seeks him out to acquire the Nine-Tailed sealed in his body.
