It’s an action-packed weekend ahead, with something for everyone. Children can look forward to a plethora of activities to kickstart their June school holidays, while adults have a whole lot of options to spend this weekend, from electronic fairs to fitness activities and performances.

1. DBS Marina Regatta 2017
There’s something for everyone at the upcoming DBS Marina Regatta 2017. Fitness enthusiasts can look forward to watching over 3,000 dragon boat athletes compete for cash prizes totalling S$134,000, try their hand in sailing with DBS’ 18-metre-tall Swedish Match 40 sailboats or participate in fitness classes by lululemon. Not one for sports? The event will also feature an “urban beach” to lounge on, and Singapore’s largest water obstacle course.

The DBSMR X Ultra Countdown Party will also be happening at the DBS Marina Regatta, and features three Ultra Music Festival DJs nightly such as Jade Rasif, DubVision, Crossnaders, Raiden, Moe and Myrne.

2. Children’s Season Singapore 2017
Children and parents alike can look forward to an island-wide adventure this June school holiday. The 10th edition of Children’s Season Singapore is going beyond museums, heritage and culture to include interests like music, nature and the performing arts. Explore Singapore’s history and landmarks at Our Favourite Places exhibits in the National Museum, sleep next to some of the most exotic animals from the Singapore Zoo or River Safari, and take part in a variety of workshops, from toy-making to taking pictures without a camera.

3. Summertime Madness presents The White Beach
Lifestyle destination 1-Altitude is bringing back its Summertime Madness beach party which is set to transform the rooftop bar into a dazzling beach wonderland with its “White Beach” theme. Visitors can sip on 1-Altitude’s specially-created cocktail, and take part in fringe activities and roving acts including LED twirlers.

4. PC Show 2017
Singapore’s longest-running IT and consumer electronics show is back again. Spread over four days, visitors to the event can look forward to some of the best technology offers in town from vendors and exhibitors such as Aftershock PC, GameProSG, Secretlab and more.

5. Sonny Liew’s Wonder Woman Illustration
Singaporean illustrator Sonny Liew’s Wonder Woman-inspired illustration is showcased exclusively at Kinokuniya Main Store in Ngee Ann City. The artist was recently nominated in six categories for the 2017 Eisner Awards for his work The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye, the most number of nominations at the awards this year. The novel has also won the Singapore Literature Prize and the Singapore Book Award’s Book of the Year.

6. Marina Bay Sands presents Open Stage
Some of the brightest talents from Singapore and Southeast Asia will be showcasing their talents at this new concert series launched by Marina Bay Sands which focuses on homegrown bands and musicians. The concert returns three months after its March debut, to coincide with the integrated resort’s new light and water show. Visitors can expect performances by notable artists such as Singapore Idol winner Sezairi Sezali, singer-songwriter Gayle Nerva and indie-pop quartet Disco Hue.

7. Consumer Electronics Exhibition
IT fans have yet another reason to rejoice, because the Consumer Electronics Exhibition is also coming to town this weekend. Visitors can enjoy up to 90 per cent off the latest IT products and accessories, and trade in their own electronics for cash vouchers to spend at the event.

8. Mexican Film Festival 2017
Some of Mexico’s most refreshing cinematic voices will be on display at the Mexican Film Festival 2017. Presented jointly by the Embassy of Mexico and The Projector, this film festival has something for everyone, from thrills and comedy, to bleakness and love genres.

9. HOTLZ Live in Singapore 2017
Hats off to Led Zeppelin (HOTLZ), the official No. 1 UK tribute band to Led Zeppelin, is bringing their show to Singapore to celebrate the famous rock band. HOTLZ has previously played with notable celebrities such as Queen and Iron Maiden, as well as performing in some of London’s most famous West End shows.

10. A Pony-tastic Carnival

11. Singapore International Piano Festival
The 24th edition of the Singapore International Piano Festival is bringing piano enthusiasts four days of performances from some of the most celebrated international pianists. 12. Kids Hack Day at Hyper Island
Parents and children can come together to “hack” and find new uses of technology and everyday items. Children can also learn how to build and program their own toys.
