Singapore’s largest indoor marketplace bazaar is returning for the National Day weekend with the theme “Trails & Treasures”. The bazaar will feature 400 curated booths, with items such as handmade gifts, vintage fashion, retro collectibles and games on offer. Highlights include an interactive treasure trail for visitors to win exciting prizes, and a workshop on entrepreneurship conducted by Rachel Lim from Love, Bonito, a successful local womenswear label. Several other workshops will be held at the bazaar as well, such as ones teaching photography, leather crafting, and brush script lettering.

Families for Life ‘Celebrating RSAF50’ Picnic

A fun-filled day of family activities awaits you in this Families for Life picnic. Enjoy a breakfast picnic with your family members and witness a spectacular RSAF aerial display. Visitors can also take part in a sand art activity, and try their hands at art-jamming together as a family. Children will get the chance to put on the RSAF uniforms during the event.

TGIF Music Station

Singapore’s own musical talents will be taking the stage in this fortnightly series of performances aimed at promoting local arts and culture. The series will comprise three music sets featuring several musical artists or performing groups from 7.15pm to 10pm. Homegrown musical artists who will be performing include Kelly Poon, ShiGGa Shay, MICapella, Bonnie Loo, Desmond Ng and Tosh Rock.

When: 3 August – 19 October, every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, 7.15pm to 10pm (check the schedule here)

Teresa Teng Virtual Reality World Tour

Widely considered as one of the most famous singers ever in Asia, the late legendary singer Teresa Teng will be entertaining fans in the form of a hologram. Teng will be brought back to life through the use of lights, laser, projection and video as well as special effects. Three singers – Vanatsaya Viseskul, Chen Jia and Wang Jing – and Grammy-winning violinist Jamii Szmadzinski will be performing alongside the hologram version of Teng.

Explore Singapore’s past, present and future tourism products through a 30-minute experiential tour. The tour will take visitors on a journey which introduces them to our country’s hidden stories, narrated through augmented reality (AR), interactive project mapping, doodle art and installations.
