Wednesday's Jenna Ortega shows off hair transformation
Wednesday star Jenna Ortega has shown off her new hair transformation in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The actress, who stars as Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family Netflix spin-off, shared an Instagram post displaying her new hair to her followers.
The post drew plenty of likes and comments, including from some of Ortega's Wednesday co-stars. Hunter Doohan, who plays Tyler Galpin — a barista with a romantic interest in Wednesday — commented: "OMG HELP 🔥."
Emma Myers, who plays Wednesday's werewolf roommate Enid Sinclair, wrote: "I think maybe I um…. when you um… I think…uh *gulp* …. hi."
And Joy Sunday, who portrayed Nevermore Academy siren student Bianca Barclay, wrote "immediately yes."
The hair is a stark contrast to her previous style, which more closely resembled her 'do in Wednesday.
Ortega and Wednesday have taken Netflix – and the world — by storm. The spin-off show, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, broke Stranger Things' record of most hours watched in a single week of any Netflix show ever.
The success of the show has resulted in talk of a second season. Gwendoline Christie commented on the potential return of her character Principal Weems in a potential season two after Weems was seemingly killed off by Christina Ricci's Laurel in the season finale.
"We haven't seen her put in the ground, have we?" Christie said in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy. "I feel like Larissa Weems would not really be prepared to entertain or be dominated by anything as commonplace as death."
Meanwhile, Ortega is set for more exciting times ahead with a starring role in the upcoming Scream 6 movie.
Wednesday season 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
