Wayne Lai says yes to "Rosy Business 4"

1 Feb – Wayne Lai recently confirmed that he will be starring in the fourth instalment of his hit TV series, "Rosy Business".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media in TVB City recently, shared that he had just completed filming "The King of Fighters" and is now preparing for the aforementioned project, which will also star his previous onscreen partner Sheren Tang.

"The series was originally planned for a shoot in mainland China, but we couldn't confirm the filming date due to the pandemic. First they said it would be in March, then May, and then September. But I will just make some space for the project and won't charge them more, because when it comes to "Rosy Business", it's no longer about money and benefits," he said.

Wayne stated that one of the reasons he decided to accept the project was due to the fact that he will be working with Sheren and editor Cheung Wa Biu again.

"I will try my best. "Rosy Business" has created so many achievements for me. It will be great to film another one now," he added.

It is noted that Wayne won two TV King awards for his role in the first and second series in 2009 and 2010. However, the winning streak ended after both Sheren and Cheung Wa Biu left the nest, with the third instalment - featuring Myolie Wu as the lead actress - was panned by both critics and audiences.
