‘I watched two hours of Sabrina Carpenter videos and found the exact makeup products she uses’

I’m unashamed to hold the position of 'amateur detective' in my friendship group. If you want to track down where your favourite influencer got their jeans from, or what your talking-stage was eating for breakfast in 2019, please hmu.

As for my own personal obsession, Sabrina Carpenter, she's now responsible for 70% of my daily screen time. There’s just something about her ultra-girlie, kind-of-looks-like-a-Polly-Pocket, bleach-blonde vibe that I love. Not only that, but her stage presence is infectious. I've listened to every Nonsense outro and have hummed “I’m working late, cause I’m a singerrrr” an unacceptable number of times.

But putting aside her cuteness and sky-rocketing career for a sec, I’m obsessed with her entire beauty aesthetic. From her full-bodied bangs and pouty lips to her baby-doll blush that’s got everyone in a chokehold RN, there is just so much about her look that I highly rate.

Sabrina’s makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez – who also paints the faces of Gigi Hadid, Camila Mendes and Blake Lively – recently spilled the tea on the blush she uses to make her rosy cheeks pop: the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tints in the shades Bold Pink and Delicate Mauve. But I, my friends, have taken things many steps further.

I spent two hours watching Sabrina Carpenter GRWM videos and stalking her socials until I discovered all the makeup products that Carolina uses, as well as the ones that feature in Sabrina's very own makeup bag. In fact, I've been told that I’m doing God’s work. Isn’t that sweet? I guess so.

Sabrina Carpenter's makeup products

Face products

In my first leg of Sabrina sleuthing, I quickly realised that Armani is a core brand used by her makeup artist – and in her GRWM video with Vogue for the 2024 Met Gala, I spotted a lot of it bopping about. Alongside the Cheek Tints, she used the Luminous Silk Concealer and Foundation to create her glowy and fresh-faced complexion. And if you’re already a fan of the Luminous Silk range, it’ll make complete sense why these products are the chosen ones.

Taking my investigation further, I wanted to find out what products feature in her own vanity – and you’ll be pleased to know, you may already own a few of them. In a video with Elle Magazine where she shares her morning routine, Sabrina says that she tries not to go “too crazy” with her base makeup: “I have a few freckles and I really try to have them live their best life.”

She starts by using the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, just applying a few swipes on her cheeks to enhance the glow, and then follows up with the Laura Mercier Ultra-Longwear Concealer, dabbing it under her eyes. She also revealed in an Allure TikTok video that she is a fan of NARS’ Sheer Glow Foundation – aren’t we all?

As for the pigmented products, it took a little more sleuthing. Starting with the blush, we’ve already established that the Armani Cheek Tint is the main player. But in a TikTok interview with Who What Wear, Sabrina shared that she reaches for the Makeup by Mario Soft Pop Plumping Blush and on her own TikTok account (yes, the stalking went hard) I spotted a cheeky Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Blush Wand.

As for bronzer, Carolina is yet to share what she uses – although I’m assuming it’ll be Armani. For Sabrina though, her TikTok tutorial showed her dipping into the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Contour Duo to sculpt out her cheekbones, while describing the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Contour Wand as being one of her “favourite things” in the interview with Elle Magazine.

Eye products

Onto the eyes. I found this a little tricky – maybe I’ll just need some 1:1 time with Sabrina to find out 👀 – but I refuse to leave you empty-handed. In the Elle Magazine interview, I’m confident I spotted the Sweed Eyeliner where Sabrina used it to add a small feline flick to her outer corner, while I caught a glimpse of Carolina using the Armani Eye Tint to add a smokey sparkle to her lid for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

StyleCaster also reported that Carolina is a fan of the Armani Eyes to Kill Lengthening Mascara and that she used the Half Magic Flik Eyeliner for Sabrina’s Coachella look. IKR, can we take a moment to remember the ultra-mini skirt one more time?

Lip products

I know we’re obsessed with Sabrina’s blush, but is no one else crushing on her lip combo? Reminding me of Hailey Bieber’s glazed brownie lips of 2022, she uses a deeper shade to define and line her lips and then layers on an ultra-glossy gloss to finish up the look.

What’s the secret sauce? Sabrina uses the Makeup Forever Colour Pencil in the shade Whatever Walnut and then uses the Hourglass Glossy Balm in the shade Desire. I’m yet to try the Makeup Forever liner, but something must be said for the Hourglass gloss: it packs an unbelievable amount of pigment and lends the lips a ridiculous amount of shine that almost looks wet (in the best of ways).

In the video interview with Elle Magazine, I also discovered that Sabrina and I have something in common: we’re both big fans of the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat. It's a plumping iteration of the brand’s OG gloss, which also happens to be the juiciest, lip-enhancing product to exist. And because lip prep is just as important as skin prep (cause who wants crusty smackers!?) Sabrina went in with the Dr Paw Paw Ultimate Red Balm to hydrate and soften her lips.

With that, the investigation draws to a close – and if it's made me think one thing, it's that Sabrina needs to drop her own makeup line, pronto. With her fragrance Sweet Tooth recently launched, it only makes sense right? Until then, catch me buying all of the above, cutting my bangs and forever singing "That's that me, espresso."

Oh and, ICYMI, catch Sabrina on the cover of our June/July issue (on sale now), where you can read all about what it was like touring with Taylor Swift, to trusting her gut, and why she *never* takes herself too seriously (while still working really freaking hard).
