Watch SPECTRE Title Sequence With Radiohead's Rejected Theme Song

The opening titles of the 24th James Bond movie ‘SPECTRE’ might have gone down a little differently.

It had long been reported that Radiohead were among those considered to provide the theme song for Daniel Craig’s fourth outing as 007, before Sam Smith’s ‘The Writing’s On The Wall’ was ultimately selected.

Now, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has confirmed that this was indeed the case, via Twitter:

Yorke then shared the song online - which Youtube user avinindustries13 has wasted no time setting to ‘SPECTRE’s opening title sequence, just give us an even greater sense of what might have been.

Considering that ‘SPECTRE’ is surely the most light-hearted Bond movie of the Craig era, this music does seem perhaps a little too sombre - but then, we might also say the same of Sam Smith’s song.

Judge for yourself below.
