Watch the Moment Lady Gaga Ran to Help a Photographer on the Oscars Red Carpet

Lady Gaga briefly stopped her red-carpet walk at the 95th annual Academy Awards to help a photographer who fell.

In a video that went viral on Twitter, Gaga walks down the carpet as she passes a photographer. Off-screen, there is the sound of a thud and the crowd reacting. Gaga turns towards the sound and her face lights up in concern. She runs a few yards to the photographer, who has recovered from the fall, to help them off the ground. "Are you okay?" she can be heard asking in the video clip.

Gaga arrived at tonight's prestigious ceremony wearing a sultry black gown with a sheer corseted bodice and drop-waist silhouette. The dress was recently presented at Versace's recent runway show in Los Angeles, where Gigi Hadid modeled the look.

The singer further accessorized the luxe piece with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a sparkling diamond necklace, a diamond bracelet, and stud diamond earrings.

Tonight, Gaga's Top Gun: Maverick track, "Hold My Hand," is nominated in the category of Best Original Song. She is up for the award against fellow nominees Rihanna for "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever; Stephanie Hsu, David Byrne, and Son Lux for "This Is a Life" from Everything Everywhere All at Once; Diane Warren and Sofia Carson for "Applause" from Tell It Like a Woman; and Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava for "Naatu Naatu" from RRR.

Though it was originally reported that would not be taking the stage tonight, the decision was seemingly reversed, with Gaga now confirmed to join the other nominees in performing her Oscar-nominated track.
