WATCH: At long last, a Game of Thrones S7 trailer
After releasing some images from Game of Thrones S7, HBO has FINALLY dropped a trailer for the penultimate season of our favourite high fantasy epic. And if you had any doubt that forces good and bad are converging on King’s Landing, be assured that s*** is about to get real there.
We see Cersei (Lena Headey) acknowledging the threats coming from north, south, east and west, before proclaiming: “Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat.” But the woman has clearly never seen dragons, not to mention the iron will of one Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
There are glimpses of Daenerys’ forces running riot, not to mention men in the North running from…something (presumably White Walkers). And of course, GREAT BIG DRAGONS.
It all culminates in Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) solemn declaration: “The Great War is here.”
Game of Thrones S7 premieres exclusively on HBO (StarHub TV Ch 601) this July 17 at 9am, with a same day primetime encore at 9pm.
