Peak ski season is well underway, and travelers flying with Alaska Airlines can enjoy free lift tickets at select resorts across the U.S. and Canada — just by showing their same-day boarding passes.

“For Mileage Plan members, the perks extend beyond your flight,” the airline shared about the promotion on its website. “Throughout the 2024-2025 season, you can unlock exclusive benefits at our partner resorts. Whatever world-class mountain you decide to ride next, our network and global partnerships network are your ticket to the best winter resorts in the world.”

Alaska Airlines passengers can take advantage of same-day lift tickets at select U.S. ski resorts by flying into the following airports:

  • Anchorage International Airport (ANC): Arctic Valley Ski Area in Alaska

  • Juneau International Airport (JNU): Eaglecrest Ski Area in Alaska

  • Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN): Steamboat Ski & Resort in Colorado

  • Boise Airport (BOI): Bogus Basin in Idaho

  • Spokane International Airport (GEG): Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho

  • Jackson Hole Airport (JAC): Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming

For a few Canadian resorts, the free lift ticket promotions come with added flexibility. For instance, passengers flying into Kelowna International Airport (YLW) can use their free lift ticket at Sun Peaks Resort on the day of arrival or the following day.

Those landing at Edmonton International Airport (YEG) or Calgary International Airport (YYC) have up to 21 days from their flight to redeem their ticket at Ski Marmot Basin Resort. Meanwhile, travelers heading to Red Mountain Resort, accessible via Spokane International Airport (GEG), can use their lift tickets on any day of the ski season, provided the boarding pass is presented at the resort within 10 days of the flight.

Certain promotions may include additional restrictions, such as limits on how many times you can redeem free lift tickets during the season or specific blackout dates during peak travel times. Ski season typically extends through mid to late April, depending on the resort, and some locations may also offer perks like free equipment rentals or discounts on gear.
