Want to craft or learn graffiti? Singapore’s new co-making space MOX will inspire you to pick up a new hobby

Singaporeans are no doubt becoming increasingly interested in making things - be it terrariums, leather goods or rustic floral bouquets. So it’s not surprising to see a multi-level complex dedicated to bringing crafty and creative makers together under one roof.

The newly opened co-making space MOX officially opened on Thursday (5 October) unveiling three floors consisting of experiential retail spaces on the first floor, workshops and studios on the second floor and co-working spaces on the third floor.

Nestled in the charming Katong district along Joo Chiat Road, MOX is poised to become the go-to centre for local makers to produce creative works and share their knowledge through workshops.

MOX is owned by founder Kent Teo, who is also the CEO of local space activation and events company INVADE. The local company is well-known for organising bazaars such as the popular Artbox Singapore that happened earlier this year.

MOX is located at Katong Point, which is owned by Kishore Buxani of private investment group Buxani Group.
