Wang Yibo denies romance with Chinese heiress
17 Aug – UNIQ's Wang Yibo has recently denied rumours that he is currently dating a Chinese heiress, Qi Meihe.
As reported on NetEase, the singer's agency, Yue Hua Entertainment recently released a statement denying the rumours, saying that false information disseminated on the internet has adversely affected the singer.
The company also alleged that the rumours are a malicious attempt to smear Yibo's good name and influence public opinion about him, and should be deleted at once to avoid legal action.
Rumours of romance between Yibo and Qi - an heiress of a luxury automobile distribution company in China, sparked as early as June this year, when a media blogger published photos of the two together, saying that they are currently dating.
However, netizens had since pointed out that the photos might have been photoshopped and did not look real at all.
