17 Feb – After much speculations about her life in recent weeks, Wang Likun, also known as Claudia Wang, finally has had enough and went to her studio to address the issue.

As reported on Sohu, on 15 February, Wang's studio posted a statement, saying that internet users have been fabricating stories and disseminating false information about Wang breaking the law and getting arrested.

"This has seriously damaged Ms Wang Likun's reputation and affected her personal life. Our studio hereby solemnly declares as follows: Ms Wang Likun has always been law-abiding, self-disciplined, has never been involved in any illegal activity and has never ruined anyone's legal rights."

The statement further added that they have handed over the matter to the lawyers with the intention to pursue those involved in spreading such false news.

Earlier, it was rumoured that an actress by the surname W was summoned by the police and arrested after her husband was suspected of fraud. It was also said that the actress has entrusted a lawyer to file for divorce.
