Wang Leehom's camp slams latest rumour of a foursome

17 Jul – Wang Leehom's rep has released a statement denying that a recent supposedly lewd video of four people shared by a tabloid involved the singer.

As reported on NetEase on 15 July, the singer's management stated that Leehom has entrusted a lawyer to deal with the incident, and that they have begun collecting evidence and preparing for a lawsuit.

The company also added that they have zero tolerance on malicious rumours.

Earlier, a Taiwanese tabloid shared a supposed eight-minute private video, and accused Leehom of being involved with Vivian Hsu, Christine Fan and Blackie Chen. They also claimed that the source of the news was Leehom's ex-wife Lee Jinglei.

However, netizens were sceptical of the reports, seeing that the video was too blurry, and that Jinglei herself has previously stated on social media that Leehom had no relationship with the aforementioned names "as far as I know".

At the same time, the publication was also known to have posted articles that have been proven false, including news about Nicholas Tse and Faye Wong's breakup.
