Walker Hayes and His "Super Hot" Wife Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance
Walker Hayes is a lucky man. After more than a decade in the industry, the 42-year-old country singer's career caught fire over the past year, thanks to his insanely catchy lyrics and viral TikTok dances. But not only that, the singer has also been married to his stunning wife, Laney, for 18 years! The two are pretty inseparable, and have even been on tour with their six children lately! During that time the duo made a stop in Nashville for the CMT Artists of the Year awards.
The singer posed on the red carpet alongside Laney, who wore a stunning black-and-silver flapper-style dress and carried a bejeweled silver clutch. Walker decided to keep things causal with a brown jacket and black pants.
It was a big night for Walker. He was honored alongside Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, and Alan Jackson, who received the artist of a lifetime award. The "Fancy Like" singer accepted the award and brought down the house with his special new remix of "Y'all Life" with Ciara.
The award was presented to Walker by Shane McAnally and Kelsea Ballerini. In his acceptance speech, Walker admitted that he doesn't often win awards. He said, "The last award I got was in 9th grade for most-improved student, and I didn't have to make a speech."
He continued to thank his team and his wife. Walker said, "Holy cow, she's super hot, and super awesome. She’s been beside me, guys, she’s felt a lot of heartbreaks along this way but never once did the woman ever say, 'Hey, do you want to have a more normal ambition or a more realistic dream?' Not one time."
