Vivien Yeo admits challenge filming "Eighteen Years Later"

21 Aug – Vivien Yeo recently took a time off her new drama to attend the premiere of the Hollywood musical film, "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again".

The actress, who is currently filming the investigative drama, "Eighteen Years Later", shared that she needed some breather from her role, which is why she decided to watch a relaxing movie.

"The character I play in the drama is a deaf and mute girl. I have to speak with sign language and do a lot of crying scenes. It really lowers your mood. That's why I came to watch this movie," she said.

Vivien also admitted that her role in the drama is one of her most challenging role yet.

"There was this one time that I had to do a crying scene for six hours. I forced myself to think of a lot of sad things, like the death of my elders. I even distanced myself from others to cultivate these emotions. Fortunately, I know how to detach myself from the role when needed," she said.

The upcoming drama, which is currently in production, stars Mandy Wong as a detective who reopens an old murder case in order to find her father's killer.
