Vivian Lai's message of betrayal aims at Stephanie Che

28 Feb – While she has been keeping mum about her divorce from husband Tsang Chiming, the CEO of men's apparel, Goldlion, former Hong Kong singer Vivian Lai (also formerly known as Vivian Tsang), recently sparked speculations with her Weibo rants about betrayal.

According to Mingpao, Vivian turned to Weibo and expressed, "After 17 years of friendship, I have finally realised who you really are."

"When you were in trouble, I had come over quickly to assist you. But in return, you only added insult to my injury. You have not only hurt me, but you also lost a friend who has done everything for you."

It was reported that Vivian was referring to a rumour in regards to her failed marriage. While the singer has not talked about the reason behind the divorce, another rumour surfaced that she had been intimate with another married man and has been living together with him in Providence Bay.

Since such information may have only been divulged to close friends, it was suspected that it was an act of betrayal by a friend who disclosed it to the media.

And while no names were mentioned by Vivian in the Weibo entry, many believed that the message was written for her close friend, Chinese actress Stephanie Che, whom Vivian had helped before.

However, both Stephanie and Vivian have yet to comment on the rumours.
