Vincy Chan says sorry for misunderstood engagement ring post

6 Apr – Vincy Chan recently apologised for the misunderstanding that occurred following her recent post that had everybody congratulating her for her "engagement".

Back on 4 April, the singer posted a photo of a hand holding an engagement ring, and captioned it, "I do". Fans and friends alike immediately went to the comments section to congratulate her, including Charlene Choi, Carlos Chan, Joey Yung, and Linda Chung.

Many thought that she is finally marrying her hairstylist boyfriend Ziv, of whom she has been in a relationship with for the past 11 years.

However, the singer quickly posted another update a few hours later, and said that she is not engaged and that it was just a misunderstanding.

"The last post was one of the scenes and line from my new music video. Again, sorry to make everybody misunderstood. Thank you all for your blessings and love. If there is good news, I will definitely announce it to everyone," she added.

To that, fellow singer Grace Wong responded lightheartedly, "Well... congrats on [your] new song then."
