Vincy Chan addresses claims of plagiarised song
6 Jul - Hong Kong singer Vincy Chan recently addressed allegations that her new song, "Used to Love You", is a product of plagiarism.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at a launch of a beauty centre recently, shared that she has already listened to the song Netizens alleged to be the original score that her song supposedly copied.
"I immediately contacted the management company about it and they told me that they will handle the issue. That is because it is the only song in my album that was composed by someone outside the company," she said.
When asked if she thinks the two songs are similar and might be plagiarised, Vincy said that she wouldn't want to be unfair to her composer and to the other composer.
"I just want to have a proper solution. I hope to be able to clarify the situation as soon as possible," she said.
