Despite his predicament, the actor at least came out looking good in his mugshot?


Uh oh, is Vince Vaughn going to prison for real?

11 Jun – Fret not, Vince Vaughn fans, the actor is properly sobering up right now, having been bailed and released from jail a few hours after his arrest.

The "Brawl in Cell Block 99" actor was arrested around 1 a.m. Sunday at Hermosa Beach, California, and held at the Manhattan Beach Police Department before being released around 7 a.m. on a USD5000 bail, according to US Weekly.

Vaughn was reported to be driving while intoxicated and was resisting arrest. A male passenger, also booked for public intoxication, has been released on bail as well.

A court date has been set for 10 September.

Fans' reactions online had been less shock and more awe when the police released Vaughn's mugshot, commenting that he was still looking good despite his predicament, smiling as his picture was taken.

This is Vaughn's first DUI arrest though this isn't his first brush with the law.


In 2001, the 48-year-old actor was arrested for a bar fight in which fellow actor Steve Buscemi ended up being stabbed by a random man in the arm, face and throat while intervening.

The incident took place in Wilmington, North Carolina, where the actors were filming "Domestic Disturbance", and occurred between Vaughn, Scott Rosenberg, and a local man.
