Vice Ganda to launch his own digital network
22 Jul – With the fate of ABS-CBN's employees still unknown, Vice Ganda recently announced that he is launching his own digital network.
As reported on Rappler, the entertainer recently shared the news via on online press conference on 20 July, saying that he wants to reach a wider audience through his own Vice Ganda Network, which will carry all of his projects and videos.
"We as artists have to find our ways of reaching out to the audience and to serve our purpose," he said.
At the same time, Ganda hopes that his digital network could help with ABS-CBN workers who lost their jobs due to the shutdown, as well as to stand-up comedians who lost their source of income due to the closure of comedy bars.
"But the first people we will accommodate are those from ABS-CBN who won't have any income for now. I need to open this project so I can also extend help to them," he added.
