Vanessa Hudgens just cut her hair even shorter
It’s no surprise that Vanessa Hudgens had been rocking her signature mermaid waves for the start of festival season…after all, she and her long locks are a Coachella staple. But just last week, Vanessa Hudgens cut her hair into a bob. And we loved the fresh change-up!
And now, Hudgens cut her hair even shorter for the Billboard Music Awards.
The singer showed off her short, sexy haircut while walking the red carpet, and it turns out her old Hollywood-inspired glam session happened right before the show. Her hair stylist, Chad Wood, told POPSUGAR,
“When she just cut her hair, it was cut to her shoulders, so for tonight I actually cut it up to below her ear. I wanted a very high-fashion French bob. Everyone is doing these chic French looks, and I love it because it is very sexy and clean. I was really inspired by that for tonight’s look. With this look, you can see her neck, which is very sexy. The shorter length I gave her is very modern and fresh, rather than a messy textured wave to her shoulders.”

Hudgens rocked the deep side part and structured waves, with Wood adding, “We wanted a look that was both clean and structured with a soft femininity. It’s really a brushed-out soft shape that is elegant and chic.”
Her shorter look was the perfect complement to her blush satin gown, proving that she knows how to turn up the sophisticated glam. Swoon!
