Vanessa Bryant Gives Away Nike Kobe Sneakers to People Affected by Los Angeles Wildfires
Vanessa Bryant is giving back to her city amid a devastating time. The wife of the late Kobe Bryant gave away Nike Kobe sneakers and more items at Dodger Stadium to people affected by the wildfires that have torn through significant portions of the Los Angeles area this month.

Bryant is working with her Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation to help out the community amid a catastrophic period that has left thousands without homes. Bryant shared on social media that she and Kobe lived in Pacific Palisades in the early days of their marriage; a majority of that neighborhood was destroyed by the fire.
Bryant captioned a post, “Kob and I used to live in the Palisades when we first got married (sadly, that home was on the street where the initial fire started 💔). We have so many beautiful memories from living in L.A. There are no words to make all the loss and devastation any better. My heart and prayers go out to everyone in LA who are affected by the fires. Our @mambamambacitasports is currently working to help the L.A. community. We love you, L.A. #LASTRONG #We❤️LA ! We Love you @baby2baby ! ❤️”

Her slideshow showcased her participating in charitable work with Baby2Baby, an organization that provides children living in poverty with basic necessities like diapers and clothing. She also included a photo of a Kobe Bryant mural.
Celebrities, companies and organizations are showing up for Los Angeles during this painful time, and that includes those in the footwear industry. Skechers’ efforts include a donation of more than $1 million to support relief efforts. In another example, Deckers Brands announced a $1 million donation to be allocated between Direct Relief and American Red Cross Los Angeles Region.
