Uzu Rocks apologises as Song Ji-Hyo terminates contract

26 Apr - Uzu Rocks recently released a statement of apology after Song Ji-Hyo announced that she is terminating her exclusive contract not a year after signing with the company.

On 24 April, the company confirmed news of Song's departure, saying that they are sorry for their mistakes of not paying attention to details due to the "rapid expansion in operating a variety of content-based business."

At the same time, it thanked Song for the cooperation they had and will continue to express support for the actress.

Meanwhile, Song's camp stated that they will proceed with their settlement lawsuit.

It was earlier this month that Uzu Rocks was revealed to have not paid its artistes and employees on time due to financial difficulties, though the company denied this later on.

Uzu Rocks is also home to Song's "Running Man" co-star, Ji Suk-Jin.
