Uqasha Senrose on a break for peace of mind


Uqasha Senrose wants to go on hiatus after being criticised for removing her hijab.

26 Sep – Actress Uqasha Senrose who got embroiled in real-life drama after deciding to remove her hijab says that she wants to go on hiatus from all acting jobs for the time being.

This was announced by the head of Metrowealth International Group (MIG), David Teo, as Uqasha has been signed to the company since August this year.

"Uqasha had just joined us last month, but for now she is requesting to rest and to clear her mind."

"If she is really ready, then she can resume acting. We don't want to force her as well, we will wait for her to be ready," he was quoted as saying to mStar.


David Teo has plans for Uqasha once she is ready to resume work.

This would be the second time that Uqasha has signed on to MIG. The first time was when she made her debut via the film, "Paku Pontianak".

Added David Teo, he believes that the 24-year-old has the talent and potential to grow as an actress.

Therefore, he is not hesitant in giving her another chance to strive in the industry.

In fact, he already has plans for Uqasha to star in a couple of films and dramas once she is back.
