7 May – Popular actress Uqasha Senrose shocked the local entertainment world when news of her arrest spread, after she was discovered of being in possession of six aluminium-wrapped parcels containing 53 Erimin 5 pills.

However, KL City police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim revealed that the actress has been released on police bail after the police has finished conducting their investigation on the incident.

He added that the "Paku Pontianak" actress will be investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

"It will carry a maximum fine of RM100,000 or maximum jail term of five years, or both, if found guilty," said the police chief, according to NSTP.

The drug was allegedly discovered when the 26-year-old actress was taken to the Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) Police Station after hitting another vehicle.

At the police station, a female police officer conducted a body check on the actress and a check through the actress' handbag before discovering the Erimin 5 pills.

However, the urine test performed on the actress came back negative.
