Uniqlo's viral TikTok crossbody moon bag now comes in 3 corduroy colours
At a recent preview of Uniqlo's F/W 2023 collection, our writer got to view a different version of the viral moon bag – and it comes in corduroy material.
Uniqlo's S$19.90 crossbody bag is everywhere – thanks to its affordable price point and functionality. It first went viral on TikTok last year when shoppers filmed themselves stocking essentials in this deceptively tiny bag with surprisingly roomy space. It's almost like Doraemon's infinite pocket, if you ask me!
With over 40 million views on its hashtag #uniqlobag, we've seen influencers lugging tumblers, wallets, phones, snacks, nappies, sunglasses, and even a change of baby clothes, but the weight doesn't seem to be a deterrent.
At one point, the bag was sold out in Singapore but Uniqlo's Round Mini Shoulder Bag 30 Natural is now back in stock with much fanfare.

Personally, I like the corduroy texture as it is softer than the nylon version, and the style looks much more elevated.
But the thing with corduroy is that it attracts lint as well. On top of that, the colour fades over time. To care for it, wash it separately with similar colours and do not tumble dry.
The shape doesn't deviate too much from its original version, and the colours look lively against all-black outfits.
