Tyga Socked With $186K Judgment Over Allegedly Trashed Rental Property
Attention, landlords of Southern California: If you’re going to rent to Tyga, you might want to ask for an extra-large security deposit.
The rapper and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” personality has been hit with a $186,000 judgment over a rental property in Corona, California, that the owner says was left abandoned and trashed.
Tyga’s clothing line Egypt Last Kings and his partner in the venture Brian Barber were also named by F&S Investment Properties.
According to F&S, which filed against Tyga and company in March, Egypt Last Kings entered a lease for the property that was supposed to run until Nov. 30 of this year. F&S claimed, however, that the property was abandoned without notice in June 2015.
F&S also said the property was left in “gross disrepair,” with “utility bills unpaid, and hazardous environmental waste that required professional clean-up.”
The company said that Tyga and crew were on the hook for five months’ rent, at just under $18,000 per month.

According to F&S, default was entered against Last Kings and Barber in June, but Tyga had until July 27 to answer the company’s complaint, which he failed to do.
According to court papers obtained by TheWrap, a judgment was entered in F&S’s favor. Including rent, interest, attorney fees and other costs, the total came out to just over $186,000.
