Twitter is having some strong reactions to the first images of the new Britney Spears biopic
It’s pretty obvious that anything Britney Spears-related gets us majorly excited, so news of her Lifetime biopic has us downright thrilled.
And the Internet — the wily beast that it is — is absolutely abuzz over the release of the first Britney biopic photos. And by that we mean people are losing it.
In case you need some background, the photos were released yesterday, and they feature Australian actress Natasha Bassett as the pop princess herself, along with actor Nathan Keyes as Justin Timberlake. As with everything involving social media, it seems that people are either absolutely loving it or hating it. Oh Twitter, you fickle creature, you!

Personally, we’re STOKED.
So let’s not judge a book by it’s cover — maybe this biopic will be amazing and we’ll learn something about Britney that we didn’t know before. And either way, it’s looking like it will be majorly entertaining. Oh, and while we don’t have an exact air date yet, we know it’s slated for February of 2017.
