TWICE's Chaeyoung apologises for controversial swastika shirt

23 Mar – TWICE member Chaeyoung has recently apologised for a mistake that a lot of Korean stars seemed to make - wearing a questionable tee.

On 21 March, the singer posted a photo of herself at a restaurant, wearing a printed tee over her blouse with an image of Sex Pistol's late bassist Sid Vicious.

However, netizens were quick to notice that the image of Sid was of him wearing a swastika t-shirt, and immediately pointed this to Chaeyoung, who deleted the post soon after.

She then posted an apology on Instagram, writing, "I sincerely apologise regarding the Instagram post. I didn't correctly recognise the meaning of the tilted swastika in the t-shirt I wore."

"I deeply apologise for not thoroughly reviewing it, causing concern. I will pay absolute attention in the future to prevent any situation similar from happening again," she added.
