TVB's "Lo and Behold" gets additional 180 episodes
10 Jul – It was revealed that TVB has decided to add more episodes to its long-running sitcom, "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold".
As reported on Mingpao, the sitcom which was previously set at 360 episodes, is now getting an additional 180 episodes, which means that it may continue to air in 2019.
Lead actor Lau Dan, who attended the promotional event of the said show recently, said that his goal now is to break the record currently held by "A Kindred Spirit", which aired 1128 episodes before it ended in 1999.
It is noted that Lau Dan was also a part of the '90s drama, which co-starred son Hawick Lau.
"It would be so satisfying to break my own record," he said.
Prior to "Lo and Behold", Lau played the lead in the original "Come Home Love" series, which aired 164 episodes from 2012 to 2015.
