ME:I's Tsuzumi to take a break due to health issues

4 Jul- ME:I's Tsuzumi Ebihara is set to take a break from her showbiz activities to recuperate from health issues.

As reported on Model Press, the announcement was made on the group's official website, saying that Tsuzumi has been in poor health for some time and that they will continue as a group of 10 until the singer returns.

"We will report as soon as we have a date for her return. When she does return, our company will provide support so that everyone can enjoy a performance by all 11 members," the company added.

ME:I was formed in December 2023 through the third season of "Produce 101 Japan The Girls" and is managed under Lapone Entertainment. Aside from Tsuzumi, the members consist of Momona, Ran, Cocoro, Miu, Shizuku, Ayane, Keiko, Kokona, Rinon, and Suzu.

They made their debut in April with the single, "MIRAI".
