Tsai Chin wants to teach Maggie Cheung how to sing

25 Aug - Taiwanese songstress Tsai Chin has no qualms helping Maggie Cheung with her vocals, that is if the actress-turned-singer would like a lesson with her.

As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who recently spoke to the media to promote her upcoming concert, expressed hopes that stars such as Cherie Chung, Maggie Cheung, Brigitte Lin and Chow Yun Fat will come to her show, since they've worked together in the past.

When mentioned about Maggie's new love for music and live performance, as well as her universally-panned performance at the Strawberry Music Festival a few years ago, Tsai stated that she has seen her videos and knows where the problem lies.

"Maggie is not singing out of tune. It's just that her pitch is too low. If she really wants to sing, I would love to take her to the studio and help her find the best way," she said.

Tsai stated that it is a shame that Maggie's singing was mocked by many when she has always been great and celebrated at her original craft.

"I really like her in "In the Mood of Love"," she added.
