We're almost half way through 2024, and the year is already shaping up pretty well for Troye Sivan.

After releasing his third studio album Something To Give Each Other last Autumn, the Australian singer was nominated for his first ever Grammy earlier this year (he was actually nominated for two for 2023 single 'Rush'), walked the Met Gala red carpet in Prada on the first Monday in May and is imminently about to embark on a mammoth European and North American tour.

'It's been five years since I played a show... I get anxious just thinking about it... the second I see the crowd I relax actually as they're so nice, I could trip and fall and forget every lyric and it'd be fine,' Sivan shared.

Sivan was speaking to ELLE UK, joining us for a game of Ask Me Anything, at another exciting event in his calendar. The 28-year-old was in Cannes during the annual film festival to join a listening party at Magnum's Beach Club on the Croisette for three new remixes of his song 'Honey', (Euphoria, Wonder and Chill, all inspired by three new ice cream flavours from Magnum's Pleasure Express range and produced by Mura Masa). Hours later, Sivan was joined by friends Charli XCX, actor Hunter Schafer and rock legend Iggy Pop and a as he hosted the annual Magnum beach party.

While he was due to head back from Cannes ahead of his first tour stop performance in Lisbon, Sivan shared the last performance he saw too. 'It's a pretty boujee answer but the last performance I saw was Ariana Grande at the Met Ball, with Cynthia Erivo, it was incredible,' he gushed.

For any of Sivan's 15 million Instagram followers out there wondering, he will not be changing his profile picture from Timothée Chalamet impersonating him on a November 2023 episode of Saturday Night Live any time soon either.

'I'll keep it for as long as I possibly can,' he laughs. 'Until it gets weird, which it probably already is but I love it.'
