If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians, then you’re likely aware of tensions between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian that have been growing throughout the latest season of Hulu's The Kardashians. And while the sister duo may seem to be on fine terms present day (see: Halloween costumes and Instagram shoutouts), Travis Barker, Kourtney’s husband, just entered the chat to set the record straight on whether any of the sisters’ conflict secretly stems from him.

For years, Kardashian fans have wondered if Kourtney and Kim’s feud had anything to do with an expert from Barker’s 2016 memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums, in which he detailed his attraction to Kim. In the book, Travis admits to “secretly checking out Kim” on one occasion while also referring to the star as “fucking hot.”

Now, Barker — who went on to marry Kourtney in 2022 and is expecting his first child with the Poosh founder this fall — is speaking out about the claims for the first time, asking fans to “stop it.”

“It’s like, 'Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.' Stop it,” he shared in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times. “I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me.”

He added of his memoir’s comments about Kim, “That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on. You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of 'this is why they’re fighting.' It’s just so ridiculous.”

Barker concluded by explaining, “Celebrity is not my identity. Or Kourt’s. She’s so different than her sisters.”

Travis’s comments come two years after Kim shut down rumors that she and the musician had hooked up back in 2021.

“Did you hook up with Travis Barker?” a fan asked on an Instagram post to which Kim replied, “NO! False Narrative! We've been friends for years and I'm so happy for him and Kourt.”
