'Trading Spaces' Star Genevieve Gorder Is Back With a New Show—and Fans Are Going Nuts
Genevieve Gorder is returning to the small screen in a big way: The Trading Spaces star has a new show called At Home With Genevieve. The lifestyle series, available on the free streaming service Crackle, has fans and industry folks alike losing it in the best way possible.
During the three-episode show, Gorder teams up with new experts and old friends to equip viewers with everything from home organization tips to entertaining ideas. Gorder reunites with familiar faces from TLC’s What Not to Wear alum Stacy London to Trading Spaces star Paige Davis. She also taps a new crop of pros, including food influencer Frankie Gaw, who shows viewers how to make authentic Korean dumplings. Mixologist Maximo Xtravaganza, who showcases the hottest new drinks. And cleaning expert Gislaine Edwards, who teaches viewers how to get their houses in shape. Plus, guests like the Plant Kween help bring the indoors to life through greenery.
"This is the most inclusive show I've ever had the blessing to be on," Gorder told People. She continued: "It's not like, 'No, we need someone more like this age, or looks like this, or comes from this place. Can't be too city, can't be too suburban.' They're just cool humans that we don't normally get to hear from on talk shows. And their contributions are just beautiful."
Gorder’s Instagram announcement of the show included the trailer, and people were overcome with joy upon seeing it. Fellow Trading Spaces star Mikel Welch wrote, “Mother is back!!!”
“I have to see this,” one fan commented. “My fave designer for many, many years now and always love all of your shows.”
Another fan added, “I have been pacifying myself by rewatching your other shows…waiting for you to return. You inspire me to create.”
