New in town: HK’s iconic dumpling chain ready to fry up Tampines this month!

Looking to get a taste of the old Orient? Look no further as Hong Kong’s legendary dumpling chain Ging Sun Ho will be setting foot in Singapore this month at Tampines Mall. This is your chance to experience Hong Kong’s go-to spot for authentic Shanghainese cuisine.

With humble beginnings as a 100-square-foot eatery in Mong Kok in 2010, this establishment was founded by former pop singer Oscar Siu. The iconic chain has 13 stores across Hong Kong, and Singapore is the first overseas location in their expansion.

The signature Shanghainese-style Pan Fried Pork Soup Buns (S$5.80 for 3 pieces) will surely be the showstopper for locals. With a succulent pork filling and a crispy golden base on the outside, you will not want to miss out this pocket of juicy goodness.

Be sure to tuck into other featured items such as the Pork Chop and Vegetable Rice (S$13), as well as the spicy Dan Dan Noodles (S$9.80). If you have a dining companion, look out for their Set Meal for Two Persons (S$49.80, U.P.:S$74.70).

Initially scheduled to open on Sep 4, the branch announced on their Instagram that the store will be opening at a later date. We will update you as more information becomes available.
