The young stars of Moonlight are settling back into their everyday routine following an insane night at the Oscars.

Alex Hibbert, who plays young Chiron, and Jaden Piner, who plays a young Kevin, are now back at school after a whirlwind awards season.

The Associated Press reports that the seventh graders returned to Norland Middle School Wednesday, hopping back into their routine and persuing drama classes with another Moonlight star, acting teacher Tanisha Cidel, who played a principal in the film.

The boys are still riding high from Sunday night’s Academy Awards, dishing on meeting The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield and their excitement after winning the award for Best Picture.

“I jumped over this guy, and he was screaming, ‘What the –?’ and I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I just won an award!'” Alex said of his excitement after finding out Moonlight was the real winner of the Best Picture Oscar following a snafu that initally had audience’s believing that La La Land had won.

Both boys plan to continue persuing acting, with Alex revealing plans for a television series set in Chicago, which is expected to start shooting in April. Jaden adds that he’s thankful for his role in the Academy Award-winning film, saying, “Moonlight shows Miami kids are talented not only in sports.”
