Tory Burch is bringing back one of their most iconic shoes ever. On Monday night during New York Fashion Week, the designer presented her spring ’25 collection and on the runway, the Reva was spotted.
The customer-favorite originally launched in 2006 with the help of the late Vince Camuto.
Burch wanted to create a ballet flat that would be high quality but still affordable, with a rubber sole, an elastic heel and, of course, featuring the designer’s giant logo hardware. In the first two years, Burch sold 250,000 pairs, retailing them for $195. By 2013, more than 5 million Revas had sold.
“‘I never thought I’d be famous for a shoe,’ my mother, Reva, said when our ballet debuted in 2006. Now it’s back. I love you, mom. You are divine and sublime,” Burch wrote in her show notes.
The Reva ballet has not been available in recent years — until now. The spring ’25 style has been relaunched with some modern updates, too, including cut-outs, a beveled coin, and a new mule silhouette.
Nearly every shoe in the Tory Burch collection started with the construction of a ballet slipper, including the Twisted pump and the Reva ballet, the show notes also read.
This season, Burch was inspired by sport. “The synchronicity of movement and form. This collection began with the essence of sport: power and grace, precision and freedom,” she said.
