TopSpin is ready to serve up a new match, with an all-new tennis simulation game, titled TopSpin 2K25.

Developed by Hangar 13, the brand-new game's announcement comes (coincidentally) 13 years after the previous TopSpin title, TopSpin 4, which hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii in 2011. The gamer shared the official teaser for the next installment, which includes all the dramatics that occur on some of tennis' biggest courts and a voiceover akin to John McEnroe — all without giving too much away.

“The worlds of tennis and 2K have collided," the official description reads. "TopSpin 2K25 is the next must-play sports game from 2K that fully immerses fans into the world of tennis.” Exact details for 2K25's gameplay have not been revealed, though it is expected to include the sport's official licenses, like the fast-approaching Australian Open.

TopSpin 2K25 does not yet have an official release date, but the publisher has stated that the title is "coming soon." The game is expected to be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. A PC version has not yet been confirmed.
