Top 10 Lego sets to buy since they're on sale now - Marvel, Star Wars and more
Spanning across themes like Lego City, Lego Technic, and Lego Friends, let’s build a child’s and adult's dream together!
In a survey by The Lego Group conducted in partnership with global market research firm Dynata, it was found that kids prefer toys that offer them infinite ways to play. They also desire toys that allow them to push the limits of their creativity and imagination.
Although screen time has taken over both parents’ and kids’ lives, many kids surprisingly still prefer physical toys over digital games. 80 per cent of the kids surveyed chose open-ended toys, while just over half chose digital games.
Interestingly, Lego sets were desired by both boys (70 per cent) and girls (60 per cent) as the gift they most wanted for Christmas. This is strikingly different from the other toys like action figures and dolls that had a large gender disparity in preference.
Here are the top 10 Lego sets of the year that The Lego Group has put together. Spanning across themes like Lego City, Lego Technic, and Lego Friends, let’s build a child’s and an adult's dream together!

What is the rarest type of Lego?
It was said that in the 80s, Lego released 14k solid gold 2x4 Lego Bricks, which were awarded to Lego employees who fulfilled 25 years of service in Germany. Because it's so rare and never sold to the public, a certain Lego piece was apparently auctioned for US$15,000 in 2020.
